Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to individuals participating in the Supported Employment Program.
• Assist program participants in developing job skills and maintaining successful employment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.
• Represent NCI Affiliates professionally in interactions with employers and community partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Janitorial experience preferred.
• Personal vehicle and current California driver’s license required. Driving is an essential function of this position.
• Ability to provide ongoing proof of state-required auto insurance.
• Basic computer and technology skills required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Compassion, patience, and sound decision-making skills are essential.

Compensation

$23.50 – $25.50 per hour , depending on experience. This is a part-time position, scheduled for 2 or 3 days per week from 8 am to 5 pm, with paid lunch breaks and overtime pay for hours worked over eight per day. A $250 sign-on bonus is available, paid in two installments after 90 and 180 days of employment. Availability on weekends and holidays may be required.
