COMMUNITY ACCESS NETWORK is a 501 C 3 community organization, which believes that when provided with adequate support and the needed resources, families can identify and build on their strengths and be empowered to resolve their problems. The agency maintains highly qualified mental health professionals including: licensed therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, case managers, youth counselors, parent partners and peer support staff who provide services at our 5 locations.
The agency achieves its goals of family and community empowerment by providing services in both residential as well as outpatient mental health programs.
The agency is seeking qualified candidates for Bilingual Receptionist position. Please see Job duties:
Summary:
Provide administrative support to management and all departments through conducting and organizing administrative duties and activities including receiving and handling information. Support Staff to all departments within Community Access Network.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to interact with a multitude of different socioeconomic, gender, and linguistic attributes in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Relevant training, experience and/or qualification
- Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications: spreadsheets, word processing, and database management
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
- Proven experience of producing correspondence and documents
- Proven experience in information and communication management
- Verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish

Duties and Responsibilities:
- General office duties: answer phones, filing, faxing, copying, customer service
- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents, as directed
- Maintain schedules and calendar
- Arrange and confirm appointments
- Organize internal and external events (events, celebrations, holiday festivities etc.)
- Pick up incoming mail on your way in, and drop off outgoing mail at the end of every shift.
- Make a room assignment for therapists on a daily basis
- Communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information
- Receive cash payments from clients prior to scheduled session
- Open and closing procedures for office
- Maintain front work station during office hours to ensure customer greeting and attendance to phone system
- Operate office equipment
- Ensure the front office is clean and tidy at all times
- Retrieve client count at the beginning of every month(1st of the Month)
- Distribute intake packets for new clients (make sure all documentation is returned)
- Chart review and audits
- Note to Charts
- Mental Health Admission to County (intake only)
- Follow with Referrals
- Monthly Therapist tracking
- 1ST of the Month Medical Eligibility check.
- Psychiatry Service Request/Vitals/follow up.
- Assist bookkeeper in completing monthly billing requirements
- Serve as a mentor for a new Mental Health Clinicians
- Other duties, as assigned. The job of Administrative Assistant comes with additional tasks that may arise at any time. Please speak to your supervisor if you have questions on what these tasks may entail. Remember, as the face of the company, you are expected to act and dress professional at all times.
- Receives, approves, and, when necessary, investigates client's accounts payable invoices.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
