Cardiovascular Physician Assistant (PA) | Partnered with USC

Adventist Health Glendale, in partnership with USC, is actively seeking a full-time, mission-oriented Cardiovascular Physician Assistant (PA) to join our high-profile cardiothoracic surgery program in Glendale, CA. This is a premier opportunity to work alongside a nationally recognized team supporting advanced cardiovascular surgical care.

The ideal candidate will have extensive endoscopic vein harvesting experience and a strong background in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery. This role offers a dynamic blend of operating room responsibilities, perioperative patient management, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) procedures
• First assist in cardiovascular surgical cases
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care management
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current California PA license or eligibility
• NCCPA certification required
• Demonstrated experience in endoscopic vein harvesting required
• Prior experience in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery strongly preferred

The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, highly skilled, and committed to excellence in surgical patient care. Both experienced candidates and those with strong relevant training will be considered; however, vein harvesting proficiency is essential for success in this role.

Compensation: $175,000–$200,000/year (adjustable based on experience and surgical expertise)
