Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts with precision and care.
Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner, offering clear guidance and insight into tax matters.
Work closely with business owners, executives, and controllers of small to mid-sized businesses, both nationally and internationally.
Engage in specialized areas including IRS dispute resolution, international tax, mergers and acquisitions, forensic accounting, audits, and strategic tax planning.
Represent the firm at networking events and professional seminars, especially within the San Francisco business community.
Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on complex client matters.
Contribute to the firm's strategic planning and operational decision-making.

Compensation & Incentives
17.5% commission on new client referrals for two years — up to 35% total.
25% direct pay on billable hours , increasing to 33% after 1,500 realized hours.
No 55+ hour workweeks — we value balance over burnout.

Qualifications
Degree in Accounting from a U.S.-accredited institution.
Active pursuit of CPA licensure.
Prior experience in tax preparation within a CPA firm preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Tech-savvy and familiar with modern accounting software platforms.
