About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven Document Control Specialist to support our Quality Assurance team by managing critical product configuration documents. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our documentation, helping ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain bills of material (BOMs) and item master files in the ERP system
- Manage and archive technical documentation, including PDFs, CAD files, and 3D assembly files
- Ensure all documentation complies with Olea’s control procedures
- Analyze BOMs for standardization opportunities across product lines
- Develop systems for capturing configuration-related data beyond BOMs
- Maintain data integrity across all product configuration records
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve documentation issues
- Support additional quality documentation tasks as needed

Compensation & Schedule
- Full-time, hourly position
- $25/hour starting rate
- On-site role at our Cerritos, California headquarters
- Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in product configuration or document control in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Abas or similar preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and follow structured processes
- Comfortable in both office and occasional manufacturing settings
