Tasting Room Associate
Job Description:
3–4 Days/Week • Weekends Required • Growth to Full-Time

CAST Wines is looking for a charismatic, sales-savvy Tasting Room Associate to join our hospitality team and help us share the magic of Dry Creek Valley. CAST Wines, a boutique, family-owned, direct to consumer winery nestled in the heart of Dry Creek Valley. Known for our small-lot wines—particularly our celebrated sparkling offerings—CAST delivers bespoke tasting experiences that build meaningful relationships and reflect the sophistication of our wines and the natural elegance of our estate. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional with a passion for fine wine, refined service, and the ability to guide both guests and team members with confidence and grace. The Opportunity-As Tasting Room Associate, you will be the face of CAST Wines, responsible not only for creating exceptional guest experiences but also for overseeing daily tasting room operations. You will set the tone for service excellence, support sales and wine club growth, and work with a team dedicated to thoughtful, high-touch hospitality. Responsibilities
-Deliver warm, engaging, and informed tasting experiences.
-Excel in service delivery, wine knowledge, and guest interaction
-Oversee the daily tasting room flow, ensuring an exceptional guest journey from arrival to departure
-Drive DTC sales and wine club enrollments through meaningful connections and elevated service
-Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to confidently recommend and sell wine and club memberships
-Monitor tasting room inventory, presentation, and cleanliness to ensure a polished environment and report to management any needs.
-Perform opening/closing duties and maintain operational standards
-Collaborate with leadership on team trainings, events, and service enhancements
-Accurately process transactions and maintain precise cash handling The Ideal Candidate
-Must be 21+ years of age
-2+ years in a hospitality or tasting room environment
-Refined interpersonal and communication skills; naturally polished and professional demeanor
-A passion for wine with working knowledge preferred and willingness to learn
-A positive, team-oriented attitude and love for hospitality
-Comfortable with POS systems and inventory management
-Weekend and holiday availability required
-Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
-Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather condition Schedule & Growth:
-3–4 days per week to start
