Power Electronics Intern

- Optimize converter to achieve consistent soft-switching, ensuring high efficiency across a wide range of battery voltages during both charge and discharge modes. - Develop high-fidelity transformer models and conduct detailed trade-off analyses between power density, thermal constraints, and cost

- MS or PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics
- Deep theoretical and practical understanding of Resonant DC-DC converter modulation schemes (e.g., frequency modulation, phase-shift control)
- Expertise in magnetics design using Ansys Maxwell for transformer modeling, including inductance matrix extraction and detailed winding/core loss analysis
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as Simulink and LTspice for transient and steady-state circuit analysis
- Hands-on experience with Altium Designer for multi-layer PCB layout, specifically for high-power and high-voltage creepage/clearance requirements
