Front Medical Office Receptionist
:
Job Duties and Responsibilities - Greet patients and answer telephones
- Verify insurance and schedule appointments
- Check-in and check-out patients
- Collect patient charges
Check inbox for incoming specialist reports, refills and lab reports - -flag to appropriate parties
- Manage referrals to specialists and obtain medications
- Complete insurance companies' annual reports
- Understand and maintain HIPAA regulations
- Support office with administrative and routine tasks
Skills and Qualifications - Fluency in English and Vietnamese is REQUIRED
- Interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility and attention to detail, efficient problem solver
- Knowledge of medical language and health insurance plans
- High school diploma or GED required. Medical Assistant, either by education or experience preferred.
- Experience with MS Office software
- Knowledge of medical billing is a PLUS
Full time, part time, $18-29/hour. Permanent full-time employees: Vacation and holiday pay. 401K. Partial medical reimbursement and bonuses.
