What you’ll do

• Perform general repairs and upkeep across apartments and common areas, including plumbing, basic electrical, drywall/carpentry fixes, and painting.
• Complete unit turns: repair, clean, and prepare vacancies for new residents on schedule.
• Keep grounds, parking areas, and shared spaces tidy for strong curb appeal.
• Conduct daily property inspections; handle urgent maintenance requests after hours.
• Support move-in, move-out, and semiannual unit inspections.
• Maintain parts and equipment inventory; track usage to avoid shortages.
• Source and compare vendor bids/quotes; assist with coordination of contracted work.

What you’ll bring

• Knowledge of core building trades: electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry.
• Hands-on experience with apartment maintenance and repair tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while building positive relationships with staff and residents.
• Physical capability to perform all essential duties safely.
• Possession or ability to obtain insecticide/hazardous material applications permit.
• Valid California driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance.
• Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Education & Experience

Any combination equivalent to sufficient experience, training, and/or education.
