POSITION OVERVIEW The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula is looking for a dedicated and self-motivated People Operations Generalist to join our People Team and will report to our Senior Director of Human Resources. You will support employees through the whole life-cycle, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, data and systems, programs and employee experience. The People Operations Generalist leads practices and objectives that drive a harmonious, employee-oriented and collaborative team culture. This role is a highly visible member in the office and org, serving as a friendly, familiar face to employees. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Systems Management:
  • Manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data
  • Implement best practices for data entry, system updates, and regular audits to guarantee data consistency
  • Provide training and support to management and staff members on HRIS functionalities
Liaison with TriNet:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between BGCP and TriNet, our PEO provider
  • Ensure seamless alignment between organizational policies and procedures and TriNet's offerings
  • Collaborate with TriNet representatives to address inquiries, resolve issues, and stay informed about updates or changes affecting our organization
Employee Support:
  • Act as a resource for employees seeking assistance with HR-related matters, including benefits, payroll, and general HR inquiries
  • Facilitate effective communication between staff and TriNet to resolve concerns promptly
HR Operations Enhancement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within People Operations, implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Generate and analyze HR data reports using the HRIS to inform decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide insights into HR metrics, trends, and key performance indicators.
Onboarding:
  • Own and drive the new hire onboarding program (in-person) from end-to-end
  • Ensure that all new hires have a positive onboarding experience from the moment they sign their offer letter
  • Deliver excellent customer service through strong communication and follow-ups as new hires complete the compliance and onboarding process
Offboarding: Coordinate with TriNet on offboarding procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate a positive exit experience for departing employees Benefits Administration:
  • Work closely with TriNet to administer employee benefits, addressing inquiries and administer open enrollment processes
  • Assist in the communication of benefits programs to employees, to support understanding and participation
Oversee and support Employee Review System:
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the employee review system
  • Provide training and support to employees and managers on system functionalities
  • Coordinate and manage the entire employee review cycle, including goal-setting and evaluations
This is not exhaustive and may be subject to modifications based on organizational needs. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience
  • Relevant experience in benefits, employee relations, and/or HR technology
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources Generalist/People Operations experience
  • High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, strength in multitasking
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization
  • Ideally, you are an upbeat, positive problem solver who welcomes challenges. You don't get overwhelmed by too many moving parts, and you eat your to-do list for breakfast!
LOCATION: You will be based at our Menlo Park office, with occasional travel to various sites and clubhouses as required from Monday to Thursday. Fridays will be designated for remote work from home. WORK SCHEDULE: Generally, 9 AM to 5 PM, but flexibility is required to align with the organization's needs. SALARY & BENEFITS:
  • Employment Status: Full-Time Salary
  • Pay Range: $70,000-$85,000, depending on experience (DOE)

ONBOARDING PROCESS:
  • BGCP will cover all onboarding process requirements
  • COVID Vaccination: Preferred but not required
  • Complete LiveScan background check
  • Undergo a TB test
