Nurse Practitioner Cardiothoracic Outpatient

Palm Health Resources is hiring an Experienced Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practice Provider for a major academic facility in Beautiful Los Angeles, CA!

Join a Heart program that has no limits to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of heart and vascular conditions for all patients, from infants to those with advanced disease. Our team provides deep competency across all specialties, including transplantation, stem cell therapy, congenital heart disease, women's heart health, valve disorders, arrhythmia, and hypertension.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process, supervision of clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intradepartmental liaison, education, leadership, and patient care management across the health care continuum from preventative, acute care through discharge. A Nurse Practitioners practice incorporates both independent decision-making abilities and collaboration with the board certified/eligible physician to provide expert care to the patients.

Qualifications

Experience:

· One (1) plus years experience as Nurse Practitioner in acute hospital (preferred).

· Prior experience in cardiac or cardiac surgery strongly preferred.

Educational/Licensure/Certifications Requirements:

· Master of Nursing Degree

· Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered

· Current State of California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License.

· National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner

· Current DEA license (schedule 2-5) and NP Furnishing Number

· Current ACLS certification.
