Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care for neonates in the NICU on assigned night shifts
- Develop care plans, administer medications, monitor physiologic changes, and address psychosocial needs of neonates and their families
- Educate patients and families about care plans, treatment expectations, and discharge planning
- Supervise and delegate care tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice; cross-train and float to Pediatrics when required
- Document accurately, monitor for changes, and communicate with the care team; participate in rounds and care conferences
- Maintain infection control, medication safety, and patient safety practices in a home healthcare–hospice environment

Requirements
- Active RN license valid in California (or eligibility for licensure per assignment)
- Neonatal ICU experience preferred; willingness to cross-train and float to Pediatrics
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to work nights, 12-hour shifts, and participate in travel assignments
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Effective communication with families and interdisciplinary team; comfortable in a home-based hospice setting
