**Production Technician**
**Open Position: 3rd shift is 10pm-6:30am**
(Train on 1st shift for 4 weeks)
**Job Description**
Join a well-established, advanced technology manufacturer of high-reliability printed circuit boards. We are seeking motivated, team-oriented individuals for multiple areas within the production department in Poway, California.
**Responsibilities**
+ Work within one of three production departments: Image, Mechanical, or Wet Process.
+ Handle tasks in a semi-clean room environment, including gowning up with provided hairnets and smocks.
+ Operate machines to apply images to PCBs and perform solder masking.
+ Utilize laser drill machines and CNCs in the Mechanical department, ensuring visual inspection of parts.
+ Engage in chemical processes for plating PCBs within the Wet Process department, adhering to safety protocols and wearing provided uniforms.
+ Conduct microscope or magnifying glass inspections in all departments.
+ Perform lifting tasks up to 20lbs or push carts as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in production, general production, machine operating, and PCB manufacturing.
+ Familiarity with electronic manufacturing, plating, and chemical processes.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
+ Basic visual inspection skills and ability to read and understand customer specifications and prints.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ CNC and drill machine experience is a plus.
+ Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
+ Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
+ U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Resident, or Refugee Status required.
+ Physical endurance to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
+ Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

**Work Environment**
Work in a dynamic and busy environment at a leading manufacturer of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), serving industries such as Aerospace, Avionics, Military, Commercial, and Medical Applications. Dress codes vary by department, with safety uniforms provided where necessary. The facility is equipped with advanced technology, including laser drills and CNC machines.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
