Sr Design Verification Engineer
Location: San Jose CA (Onsite only)
Full-time: Salary + Benefits + Bonuses / Contractor

We're seeking a Senior Design Verification Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering high-performance, high-reliability SoCs for next-generation semiconductor solutions.
Your Role:
- Work closely with design and architecture teams to define and implement verification strategies
- Develop scalable test environments and reusable UVM testbenches for IP and SoC-level verification
- Automate simulation flows, build regression infrastructure, and ensure functional and performance validation
- Write and execute constrained-random and directed testcases to uncover edge-case issues
- Drive coverage analysis, close verification gaps, and support design milestones through tape-out
- Collaborate on debug and root-cause analysis for RTL and gate-level simulations
- Support silicon validation teams post-fabrication
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to verification best practices
- MS (8+ years) or PhD (3+ years) in EE, CE, CS, or a related discipline
- Deep expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM/OVM, and coverage-driven verification
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell) and C/C++
- Familiarity with standard protocols (AMBA: AXI/AHB/APB, MIPI) and CPU architectures (RISC-V/ARM/DSP)
- Experience verifying complex SoC designs from RTL to post-layout
- Strong debugging skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced semiconductor environment
- Leadership mindset with a collaborative, hands-on approach
