POSITION OVERVIEW:
Position is highly visible working in a fast paced, dynamic engineer-to-order and build-to-order B2B environment. Lead a team with the purpose of fully implementing the strategic plans and ensuring attainment of all the associated goals. Monitor the effectiveness of the teams and make the necessary adjustments to improve, develop and grow the talent base in alignment with the future direction of the organization. Develop/communicate action plans to address any area not achieving the agreed upon goals and improve processes using continuous improvement principles and a Goal Deployment Process (GDP).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountable for achieving site revenue and EBIT targets by ensuring operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction
Leads the site to meet goals while sustaining a high-performance culture built on trust, transparency and employee engagement
Increases management's effectiveness by communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities
Accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections
Provide input to the Operating Company’s (MPG) strategy, particularly related to reducing product lead time and on-time-delivery, while improving margins.
Gain insights on site from financial and operating report reviews
Recommend wage changes and personal bonus achievement levels for direct reports and review/approve wage changes and bonus achievement for all reports below your direct reports
Recommend and approve (within DOA) expenditure for capital equipment
Manage the day-to-day activities of operations, overseeing that work is accomplished by the managers and supervisors, and that it is consistent with corporate policies and objectives
Collaborate with Sales organization to ensure that communication with customers on everything from capacity to OTD is accurate and does not surprise our customers
Work with engineer manager to advance product capabilities and design for manufacturing improvements
Conduct regular leadership team meetings
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
- BS/BA in Engineering or Business Operations or equivalent relevant experience. 10 years of commercial and operations experience including minimum of seven years progressive management experience in a high-mix / low-volume business with revenue at approximately $30M. Experience with budgeting, setting personal goals, achieving site level results, and objective based performance management. Core competencies are:

Pay Range: $175,000.00 - $205,000.00 annually
Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
