Position: Full-Time
Salary: $220,000–$260,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Role Overview
This role delivers comprehensive dental care in a community health clinic serving Oakland’s diverse BIPOC population. You will diagnose oral health conditions, provide preventive and restorative treatment, and educate patients on long-term oral health. Your work supports access, trust, and continuity of care for individuals and families who rely on community-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide preventive, restorative, and basic surgical dental procedures
- Interpret dental X-rays and clinical findings to guide care decisions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and care teams
- Follow clinic protocols, safety standards, and public health guidelines
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Active California Dental License in good standing
- Current DEA registration
- Experience in general dentistry; community or public health setting preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
