Position OverviewBurnett Therapeutic Services is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and people-centered Recruiter & Employee Success Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on hiring top talent for high-demand roles across our behavioral and mental health programs—including Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, Mid-level Supervisors, and clinical staff. You will serve as the face of Burnett Therapeutic Services to potential candidates, playing a vital role in representing our mission and culture throughout the hiring process.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport full-cycle sourcing and recruiting for BCBA, Behavior Technicians, ABA Supervisors, and other mental health roles
Proactively source/review candidates through platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Handshake, and industry-specific job boards
Own and manage mass hiring campaigns to meet organizational growth needs, especially for Behavior Technicians
Manage outreach campaigns and candidate pipelines by sending targeted emails, follow-ups, and other communications to engage potential hires and maintain interest throughout the recruitment process.
Represent Burnett Therapeutic Services at virtual job fairs, community events, and local outreach to high schools, colleges, and vocational programs
Identify and implement new, creative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse candidate pool
Conduct candidate outreach, screening, interviews, and extend job offersCollaborate with the onboarding team to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience
Maintain accurate records of recruiting activities, candidate pipelines, and hiring metrics
Track and analyze recruiting KPIs and data to inform hiring strategies and process improvements
Provide support for hiring other roles across the organization as neededSupport in employee retention
Qualifications
Proven experience recruiting for BCBAs, Supervisors, and BT roles in the behavioral or mental health field
Minimum of 2 years working in Recruitment or Human Resources in a healthcare setting.
Strong working knowledge of platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Handshake, and other recruitment tools
Comfortable speaking with entry-level candidates and professionals; able to “sell” the role and culture effectively
Excellent communication skills—friendly, persuasive, and professional
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Experience with community outreach or event-based recruiting is a plus
Data-driven mindset; ability to track metrics, analyze hiring trends, and report on outcomes
Self-starter with a go-getter attitude who can take initiative, improve processes, and work independently or collaboratively
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Reliable computer, workspace, and internet connection (required)
Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented culture
Prior experience recruiting in a mental health or healthcare setting (preferred)
Ability to submit pre-employment medical documents such as physical exam, negative TB test, MMR and Chickenpox immunizations, CPR, and First Aid Certifications
Ability to submit a DOJ and FBI clearance
Work schedule:
9 am to 5:30 pm PST; however, during heavy work times, staff may be asked to work during after-hours. The candidate must be able to work in the office and drive to our clinics in multiple counties.
