Position Overview
A well-established litigation firm representing Fortune 500 clients is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Defense and General Liability practice. This role offers strong hands-on litigation experience with meaningful exposure to cases from early stages through trial.
Attorneys will work closely with experienced litigators and gain direct involvement in depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation, with real opportunities for courtroom exposure. The firm emphasizes mentorship and provides a collaborative environment where associates are supported in developing trial skills, building confidence in advocacy, and taking on increasing responsibility over time.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle litigation tasks, including discovery, motion practice, and legal drafting
- Participate in depositions and case development
- Assist in trial preparation and settlement negotiations
- Conduct research and support the case strategy
Candidate Requirements
- 1–10 years of litigation experience
- Experience with research, drafting, and discovery
- Deposition and trial experience preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
Compensation Structure
- Base salary: $110,000 – $175,000
- Monthly bonus: $60 per hour over 160 net billables
- Business generation bonus (percentage of collected revenue)
- Contingency referral bonuses
