Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain high?quality diagnostic images.
  • Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers) and ensure overall safety.
  • Position patients correctly for optimal image clarity and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to review and assess scans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Adhere to MRI?specific safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions promptly.
  • Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, or related field.
  • Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required (state licensure where applicable).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI imaging preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI physics, anatomy, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
  • Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
