Shipping Assistant
:
Responsibilities:- Strap and secure loads to company truck.- Unload and load trucks using a reach truck or other equipment as necessary- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) and RF scanner to track inventory and update records- Maintain organized and clean work area in compliance with safety regulations- Crate material as required.- Assist with inventory control by conducting cycle counts and participating in periodic physical inventories- use metal straping to secure pallet.
- Make deliveries to local customers as required in company truck. Knowledge of the bay area a plus.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Clean driving record, no recent major infractions.- Proficiency in basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities- Ability to operate a reach sit down forklift.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation- Knowledge of MRP systems or other inventory management software is a plus- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.23 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
