Salary Range : $115,000 - $190,000 (dependent on experience, education, and qualifications)
Profit-Sharing Bonus : Semi-annual, performance-based (10% to 20% of salary)

Job Summary
The Construction Manager directly oversees, supervises, and coordinates work including site preparation, excavation, and foundation for control enclosure building service. This includes electrical, air- conditioning, and heating; excavation and foundations for equipment; structural steel erection, equipment erection, SCADA Testing and commissioning.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Sets up site facilities including site office, temporary utilities, data and drawing files.
- Responsible for Site Health and Safety Supervision and Management.
- Responsible for Site Quality Management.
- Know the Contracted Scope of Work, Project Schedule commitments and report potential changes to the Project Manager.
- Reviews and maintains drawings, specifications, and manuals and provides construction comments.
- Provides input and updates for the project schedule.
- Serves as chair for weekly construction coordination meeting with subcontractors and customers.
- Prepares three weeks look ahead schedule to coordinate detailed work items and assure project schedule commitments are satisfied.
- Prepares daily site progress and status reports including progress photos.
- Prepares weekly progress reports.
- Reviews Project Budget and Execution Plan with The Project Manager regularly to assure construction activities will satisfy project commitments.
- Supervises the construction work to assure quality, schedule, and budget are maintained to the minimum specification standards.
- Demobilizes and cleans up the site including forwarding all as-built documents.
- Prepares and completes all punch list work.
- Prepares and submits change request forms.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of construction related experience within the electric utility industry.
- Proficient at reading and understanding project packages.
- Proficient in environmental, safety and health best practices.
- Ability to read and understand The Prime and Subcontracts.
- Required Licenses, Certifications and Skills: OSHA 10, able to read and understand staking sheets, able to read and understand specification books
- Preferred Licenses, Certifications and Skills: Microsoft, OSHA 30
