About Us:
We are a fast-paced real estate investment and property management firm managing a portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper or Accountant with hands-on AppFolio experience to help us maintain accurate financial records, streamline processes, and ensure seamless reporting across our portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile property financial records using AppFolio

• Process and categorize expenses, rent payments, and owner distributions

• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting

• Track invoices, bills, and vendor payments

• Coordinate with property managers and leadership on financial needs

• Assist with 1099s and year-end tax preparation

• Support ongoing bookkeeping cleanup or migrations, if needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting in the real estate industry

• Proficiency in AppFolio is required

• Strong understanding of property management accounting (rent rolls, owner draws, etc.)

• Experience with bank reconciliations, A/P, and A/R

• Organized, reliable, and capable of working independently

• Excellent communication skills

• QuickBooks experience is a plus
