Under the supervision of the Codes and Standards Administration (Admin) Staff Services Manager I, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) performs duties and exercises considerable independent judgement in making decisions and recommendations which have a significant impact on Division Programs.

This job can be done partly from home and partly from the office, based on California state rules. Sometimes, you may be able to work entirely from home, but the department will decide. You must live in California, and your office location will depend on where you live. This could change based on the department's needs.

Special Requirements

Confidentiality

HCD Disclosure Requirements

Selected candidates may be subject to rules imposed by a Conflict of Interest Code that apply to HCD employees, which may require filing a Statement of Economic Interest (Form 700).

HCD conducts pre-employment background checks on all new to HCD or returning to HCD candidates. This position requires a background check to be conducted in California and cleared prior to being hired.

Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.
