The Agents team within Research works in research areas combining language models, reinforcement learning, and agents.
About the Role
We’re looking for Research Engineers / Scientists eager to advance the frontier of agent research. This role involves a full process from fundamental research to launching the research work as an agent product.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Own and pursue a research agenda to identify the weakness of the model and improve it
Build robust evaluations for tracking modeling improvements.
Design, implement, test, and debug code across our research stack.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Believe that having a solid evaluation is crucial for research projects to succeed
Are excited about shipping the research work as a product
Don’t have biased opinions on what methodology should be used to solve a particular problem
Are happy to learn whatever is needed and have unique way of learning quickly
Are a first-principles thinker
Are comfortable diving into a large ML codebase to debug.
