Intermediate to Senior-level Estimator
Intermediate to Senior-level Estimator job in Orange County, CA
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a great salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Review final HVAC estimates prior to submittal to Chief Estimator for approval
- Attend in preconstruction, pre-bid, and client meetings
- Perform accurate take-offs of material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
- Communicate and coordinate with other internal departments as well as external vendors, sub-contractors, clients, engineers, and suppliers
- Support and guide Junior Estimators to help them grow within the company
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience estimating medium and large commercial HVAC projects
- Strong technical skillset working with Trimble Accubid/Quickpen, BlueBeam, and Excel
- Advanced knowledge of piping, sheet metal, ductwork, chillers, boilers, vrv, vrf, among other hvac materials
- Familiar with CA HVAC Title 24 and OSHPD codes
