We’re seeking talented and self-motivated software engineers, passionate in tackling complex and difficult problems, to join the Simulation/Evaluation Infrastructure team in the Developer Experience org. In this role, you play a crucial role in providing a reliable and scalable infrastructure to accelerate the development and evaluation of Autonomous Vehicles (AV) software stack that powers the future of automobiles.

• San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD)
• Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
• Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy features and services in a large-scale distributed infrastructure that enables simulations and evaluations of the autonomous driving system.
• Optimize the infrastructure for usability, reliability, low latency, high efficiency, etc.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their needs and build in your own technical insights to improve the simulation and evaluation infra.

Qualifications

• A BS/MS in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in infra backend, especially distributed systems.
• High proficiency in C++.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferences

• Experience in simulation/evaluation infra for AV software.
• Experience in Python.
