Responsibilities

• Partner with senior engineers, architects, and product owners to build scalable data pipelines and services.
• Work with the product team to understand business requirements and translate them into development and design tasks.
• Serve as a role model in engineering proven techniques and design/coding standards.
• Select the appropriate technology stack to align with use cases and scalability needs.
• Collaborate across different teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor other engineers.

Qualifications

• BA / BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software design and development.
• Experience in crafting large-scale distributed systems and data processing.
• Advanced expertise in Java development and system design.
• 2+ years of experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, etc.
• 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases like Bigtable, Cassandra, HBase, etc.
• Experience with schema design and data modeling.
• Experience developing extract-transform-load (ETL) processes.
• Working knowledge of distributed messaging systems like Kafka, Pub-sub, or Service Bus.
• Solid understanding and experience with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark and Flink.
• Effective communication skills to articulate thought processes with team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience in ML-Infra.
• Knowledge of advertising platforms.

The standard base pay range for this role is - Annual. Final offers depend on experience, performance, and location. Incentive compensation may also be available.
