Registered Nurse (RN) – GI / Ambulatory Surgery

13-Week Travel Assignment
⏰ Day Shift | 4x10s | 40 Hours Guaranteed
We are currently seeking an experienced GI Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Sacramento, CA. This position is within the Ambulatory Surgery GI Unit and requires strong advanced GI procedural experience in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for GI patients in an ambulatory surgery setting
- Assist with advanced GI procedures including:
- Colonoscopies
- EGDs
- ERCP
- EUS
- Motility Studies
- Bravo Procedures
- Monitor and recover patients receiving procedural sedation
- Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and surgical teams

Requirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
- Recent Advanced GI RN experience required
- Experience with procedural sedation required
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- ACLS (AHA) Certification
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
