Territory Manager, Industrial Hardware

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Territory Manager. This role involves providing a diverse range of industrial hardware directly to clients within a specific geographic area. The ideal candidate will reside within the designated territory and excel in sales-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and outreach to businesses near existing customers.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with both cold and warm sales leads to foster relationships and drive sales.
• Deliver exceptional customer service as outlined in company training materials.
• Submit detailed daily business reports that include sales orders and prospect interactions.
• Showcase products and services to both existing and potential customers using sample boards, product demonstrations, and a mobile store.
• Ensure the mobile store is well-maintained, operational, and effectively marketed.
• Regularly update customer contact information using company software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Provide and maintain a fully insured vehicle, along with the necessary technological tools, to effectively manage the sales territory.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance job-related skills.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; outside industrial sales experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals.

Required Skills:

• Strong analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in databases, spreadsheets, email, and standard business applications.
• A basic understanding of the products offered is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to purchase or lease an approved vehicle (mobile store) is mandatory.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Possess a strong mechanical interest and the ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to kneel and bend down regularly.
• Maintain a clean driving record and conduct oneself professionally at all times.
