Pay Range: $37 – $50/hour (DOE) Sign On Bonus: $9,000

About the Role

Are you a licensed RVT or experienced Senior Veterinary Assistant ready to step into a leadership role? In this role, you’ll blend high level clinical expertise with team mentorship while working alongside board-certified Criticalists and a fast paced emergency team.

As a CCU Clinical Lead, you will be challenged, you will learn, and your compassion, skills, and ambition will be rewarded.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a team of RVTs and Assistants within the Critical Care Unit

• Maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety for critical and hospitalized patients

• Provide mentorship, hands on training, and structured development for CCU team members

• Assist in advanced case management, including critical patient monitoring, triage, ventilator support, and complex treatment protocols

• Partner with doctors and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and alignment with hospital goals

• Support emergency flow, client communication, and coordination of critical cases

Qualifications

Required: 5+ years of recent veterinary clinical experience (emergency/critical care experience strongly preferred)

Preferred:

• Active CARVT license

• Proven ability to lead by example and foster team development

• Confident in anesthesia monitoring, medication calculations, triage, and intensive care protocols

• Excellent communication, time management, and problem solving skills

Compensation & Perks
