Summary
As a member of the publications team, you will ensure all published materials align with the organization's brand, messaging, and overall goals. This role involves a mix of project management, content creation, and technical skills, adapting to the evolving landscape of digital publishing. You will create provider and member communications for publishing to the Medi-Cal Dental websites, such as bulletins, emergency notifications, and handbooks.
Your role in our mission
- Experience working with journalistic and technical writing styles with grammar, sentence form, and structure without the use of artificial intelligence
- Three or more years of writing editorial or publishing experience
- Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and publishing software
- Content management system
What we're looking for
- Under minimal supervision, perform tasks related to bulletins, alerts, banners, emergency notifications or other client escalations
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams
- Organizational and time management skills
What you should expect in this role
Hybrid in Northern California.
Must live withing commuting "driving" distance of Roseville, CA for this hybrid position. In the office three days a week. May be required to report to the office more frequently to support business needs.
For positions assigned to hybrid, reliable high-speed internet connection is required.

The pay range for this position is $55,300.00 - $79,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
