Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to own and transform the foundational Bills Creation and Management workflow in the product. This is the heart of the BILL platform—where the majority of our customers’ financial operations take place.
As the Lead Product Manager, you will be at the center of BILL's transformation, a company that moves ~1% of US GDP. You will transform the legacy data-entry workflow into an intelligent agentic experience, while ensuring the underlying infrastructure remains stable as we scale. This would include evolving the Invoice Coding Agent from its initial version into a robust, scalable automation engine—fundamentally shifting thousands of customers from manual data entry to AI-driven workflows.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. Your work is foundational to BILL's future, as we need to both build AI capabilities and build them on a modern, consistent platform. You will be the connective tissue between engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams. You will not only build new "zero-to-one" agentic features but also own and maintain these critical workflows for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and drive the multi-year product vision for AI Agents for the Bill Management workflow, aligning with BILL’s big bet on agentic AI.
- Own the end-to-end Bills Management product area and develop the strategy for modernizing it, balancing "Reimagination" of entire workflows with “Refresh” in various areas.
- Establish frameworks to prioritize opportunities, balancing customer experience, technical modernization, and the drive toward automated, agentic workflows. Secure alignment with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Define the vision for an intelligent risk-free AP experience. You will identify strategic opportunities to embed fraud detection and anomaly alerts directly into the BillPay workflow, paving the way for future AI agents that protect customers from financial & operational risk.
- Execution & Delivery
- Partner closely with ML, design, data science and engineering to design and build scalable, "agentic-native" features that automate manual work for our customers.
- Understand customer pain points deeply and translate them into agentic AI concepts and clear product requirements to drive execution from concept to launch in a highly ambiguous problem space.
- Deliver zero-to-one agentic AI features that set new industry standards while simultaneously managing the backlog and iterative improvements for your mature, in-market products.
- Partner with finance, billing, marketing, and sales to define maturity thresholds for monetization of agentic AI features.
- Create communication and change management strategies for new features that resonate with both existing customers and prospects.
- Define clear success metrics (KPIs) for the areas of ownership. Use data to validate hypotheses and iterate on the customer experience.
