Job Title: Data Entry Opportunity
Location: City of Industry, CA (Fully Onsite)
Pay: $22.00 – $23/hour
About the Role:
Vaco is partnering with a leading company in the waste management industry to hire a Data Entry Specialist for their Billing & Compliance team. This role is fully onsite in the City of Industry and offers the opportunity to start as a temporary position with potential to convert to full-time hire .
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment where accuracy and efficiency are key. If you have strong data entry skills and enjoy structured, process-driven work, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume data entry with speed and accuracy to support billing operations
- Review information for completeness and correctness, identifying and escalating discrepancies when needed
- Enter and maintain customer records and transactional data in internal systems
- Respond to inquiries via email and internal platforms in a timely and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflows
- Support compliance and reporting efforts by maintaining accurate and organized records
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of data entry, call center, or high-volume customer service experience
- Familiarity with billing or order management systems preferred
- Ability to type 40 WPM with accuracy; strong Excel skills are a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working with structured processes and metrics
- Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus (not required)
