Estimator (Commercial Electrical)
As the Electrical Estimator , you are trusted with defining scope, identifying risk, and producing estimates that directly support winning profitable work. Your voice matters in preconstruction, your analysis influences decisions, and your work sets projects up for success long before they break ground.

Electrical Estimator – Your Job Duties
You will manage the full electrical estimating lifecycle for commercial and industrial projects, from initial bid review through project award and turnover.
You will work in the office in Roseville, California daily, with occasional day trips to the field to job sites.
- Perform detailed electrical quantity takeoffs, including counting fixtures, devices, gear, conduit, wire, and related materials
- Review and interpret commercial electrical drawings, specifications, and scope documents
- Strategize electrical installations by visualizing field execution and constructability
- Support commercial electrical estimates from initial takeoff through bid preparation
- Work on commercial electrical projects with job sizes up to $1M and larger
- Enter takeoff data and pricing into stimating software
- Assist with material counts, labor considerations, and scope breakdowns
- Collaborate with estimators to refine quantities, assumptions, and job strategy
- Learn estimating best practices with a clear path toward full commercial electrical estimating
Electrical Estimator – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)
- Prior experience with commercial or industrial electrical estimating including writing bids / estimates using bid software on a computer (you may have been a Quantity Surveyor)
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of estimating software (ie: Bluebeam, Accubid)
- Advanced understanding of electrical systems, applications, and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and related trade documents
- Prior experience performing detailed electrical material takeoffs
- Field experience in electrical installation (tilt-up acceptable, electrical field exposure preferred)
Electrical Estimator – You Might Have (Desired, Not Required)
You might have prior experience with:
- Electrical projects in data centers, power plants or hospitals
- Exposure to large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects (ideally large projects that are $1 million and larger in size)
- EBM estimating software
Electrical Estimator – Benefits for You
Your compensation will be a base salary of $85,000 to $95,000.
You will work 100% on site in Roseville, California with occasional day trips to visit job sites throughout California (Company car available for site visits). You will be provided with Company sponsored medical insurance, paid holidays, paid time off and training and development support.
You will gain hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to complex commercial electrical estimating using estimating software.
