Lead Vibe Coding Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Vibe Coding Engineer for a Contract with a client in Woodland Hills, CA. The candidate must have strong expertise in AI‑assisted engineering with the ability to lead prompt‑driven development and guide teams in building scalable, high‑quality systems.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead Vibe Coding Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Lead AI‑assisted software development by defining best practices for prompt‑driven engineering and guiding teams on effective use of AI coding tools.

• Oversee solution architecture, making end‑to‑end technical decisions that balance speed, quality, and scalability.

• Drive full‑stack development efforts across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud‑native workflows while ensuring reliable system integration.

• Review, validate, and productionize AI‑generated code to maintain engineering standards and system robustness.

• Conduct architecture reviews, steer technical direction, and mentor engineers to elevate engineering excellence across teams.

• Lead rapid prototyping, enabling fast experimentation and transforming concepts into scalable production‑ready solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years in software engineering with leadership experience in modern development environments.

• Strong expertise in AI‑assisted development, prompt engineering, and hands‑on experience with tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude.

• Proven ability to lead architectural decision‑making and deliver scalable, reliable full‑stack solutions across complex platforms.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
