Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Role Overview:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will lead the design and development of user interfaces for Ketch’s data management platform. This role demands technical expertise in frontend technologies, a deep understanding of user experience design, and the ability to collaborate across teams. You will work closely with product management, customer success, and design teams to deliver exceptional, secure, and scalable user experiences.
This is an on-site role based out of the San Francisco HQ 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript.
- Lead efforts to transition from a monolithic frontend to a micro-frontend architecture.
- Collaborate with product managers to design and implement features that address customer needs.
- Partner with customer success teams to gather feedback and refine the user experience.
- Work with designers to integrate a robust design system and ensure visual consistency.
- Maintain and improve application security and performance standards.
- Engage in pre-sale and post-sale discussions to understand customer requirements and tailor solutions.
- Contribute to frontend engineering best practices, standards, and tools.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of web technologies, specifically as it relates to digital advertising.
- Experience working with large-scale frontend applications and micro-frontend architectures.
- Strong knowledge of frontend testing strategies and tools (e.g., Jest).Familiarity with backend integration, API consumption, and cloud services (AWS or GCP).Experience translating design assets into interactive and visually polished interfaces.
- Understanding of security and data protection principles in frontend development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Bonus: Experience and/or expertise with mobile application development in iOS and/or AndroidDouble
- Bonus: Familiarity with backend programming languages like Python or Go.
$160,000 - $200,000 a year
The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant. A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, market conditions, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs
