This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

Registration Processing Unit III is seeking a self-motivated individual who is dependable, organized and can establish effective working relationships with customers, coworkers and management in a team environment. Under the direction of the Manager I, the Motor Vehicle Representative (MVR) will process registration workloads received from within the unit and/or other units within the Registration Services Branch. Utilize a comprehensive working knowledge of vehicle and vessel registration policies and procedures pertaining to the California Vehicle Code to assist Law Enforcement, field offices, and the public; review various applications for required documents, signatures, and proper payment before keying and cashiering transactions into DMV automation; and issue registration indicia.

The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Salaries are non-negotiable and are subject to the California Department of Human Resources salary rules. Salaries for part-time and/or intermittent appointments may vary. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.
