Anderson Bradshaw Tax Consultants is a reputable tax firm known for providing exceptional tax and financial services to our clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient functioning of our office by handling various administrative tasks, including mail processing, POA (Power of Attorney) management, data entry, and providing support in tax return preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Mail Handling: Responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail, as well as preparing outgoing mail and packages.
  • POA Processing: Assist in the processing and documentation of Power of Attorney forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input client information and financial data into our tax software and databases.
  • Assisting with Tax Returns: Provide support to tax professionals by gathering and organizing necessary financial documents, ensuring files are complete and accurate.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general office tasks, including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and filing documents.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients to collect necessary information and documents.
  • Office Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the office space, ensuring all supplies are well-stocked.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with various office-related tasks and errands, as needed, to keep the office running smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
  • Previous office administration or related experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with tax-related processes is a bonus but not required.

Pay per hour: $20
