System Adminstrator

Â
- Be a âhands onâ technologist that will provide technical support to both our internal team and our guests for various issues
- Supporting Microsoft Office 365 and the Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Handling Active Directory account provisioning and setting up group permissions
- Building and configuring PCs and laptops as well as loading software
- Running and terminating infrastructure cabling between workstations and communication closets
- Responding to user calls and emails to troubleshoot reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve the issue
- Assist users with Operating System issues, desktop software and network/local printer issues
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to troubleshoot and resolve ad-hoc incidents with hardware, software when needed
- Administer email, team collaboration platform, and anti-virus systems
- Setup of peripherals and components when necessary
- Help set up audio/visual components for in-house and guest events.
- Assist with troubleshooting Property Management Software (PMS) and Point of Sales (POS) software
- Assist with troubleshooting an on-premises VoIP solution
- Keep track of IT supplies and equipment
- Bachelorâs Degree preferred
- 4 yearsâ experience required
- A flexible, can-do attitude with customer orientation and strong dependability
- Reliable, punctual, well-organized, self-motivator who works well alone and with others
- Experience with Windows 10 computers.
- Understanding of networking concepts: DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VoIP, PoE, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Customer-oriented and cool-temperament
- Able to work in a mixed hospitality/office environment
- Experience working within hospitality
- Knowledge of Oracle Opera Cloud PMS
- Knowledge of Oracle Micros
- Experience working with MFA and RMM solution
