Warehouse Clerk - 1st shift

Schedule:
7:30AM - 4:30PM

Product: Eyewear Company

With moderate supervision, stock and ship frames, lenses or other product orders to support operations. Pull eyewear frames, parts and/or related materials in support of daily invoice orders and new consignment sets
Ship daily orders utilizing regular mail, overnight, and ground delivery service according to department standards
Support operations functions by stocking frames, lenses and daily shipping supplies
Participate in physical inventories of product when assigned
Assist in receiving area by unpacking, staging and counting orders
Clean and assemble frames, lenses and other supplies according to department guidelines
For Altair and Marchon LOBs: Support return/refurbishing operations by processing removal and credit paperwork which may include opening mail and sorting returns by frame model
Support consignment program changes and invoice orders by assisting in the preparation of frames for shipment, including lab order consolidation
Coordinate within frame refurbishing area to provide added efficiency by preparing frames and components for refurbishing team
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Ability to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasks
Approximately one year of distribution/warehouse experience
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Ability to walk or stand 90% of the day
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
