About the Role

We are pioneering the next era of intelligent manufacturing. As Head of Humanoid Robotics (Software Focus) , you will lead the development of next-generation humanoid robots that will transform garment production and industrial sewing automation through advanced software intelligence.

This high-impact leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the core intelligence of humanoid systems capable of performing complex, dexterous tasks — from fabric handling and precise manipulation to full garment assembly — in real factory environments. Software strategy and innovation will be driven from our Silicon Valley hub, while hardware development and large-scale manufacturing are based in Asia.

What You’ll Do

• Define and own the software strategy, technical roadmap, and system architecture for humanoid robotics, with deep focus on motion control, perception, planning, manipulation, reinforcement learning, and whole-body intelligence.

• Build, lead, and scale a world-class U.S.-based engineering team, recruiting and mentoring top talent in AI and robotics software.

• Solve critical technical challenges to enable reliable, high-dexterity performance on deformable materials like fabrics, including adaptive behaviors in dynamic, real-world conditions.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (AI, mechanical, controls, and manufacturing) to deliver fully integrated humanoid systems ready for industrial deployment.

• Set the strategic vision for AI-powered humanoid automation in manufacturing, driving the shift toward flexible, labor-efficient production lines.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership track record in robotics R&D or product development, ideally with humanoid robots or advanced industrial automation systems.

• Deep expertise in one or more core areas: robot control systems, reinforcement learning, motion planning, computer vision, dexterous manipulation, or full-stack robotics software.

• Strong experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments (startup or scale-up preferred).

• Genuine passion for applying cutting-edge robotics and AI to solve real industrial problems, particularly in high-volume manufacturing such as apparel and textiles.

• Familiarity with garment or textile automation is a strong plus.

• Competitive Base Salary : $300,000 – $500,000, commensurate with experience and impact.
