Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Paramount, CA, serving the K-12 school environment on a leave contract basis. This role is ideal for clinicians holding a valid California SLP certification and credentialing with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, CFY, or school-based speech therapy settings preferred
- Ability to work full-time hours within a K-12 educational setting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy to students
- Develop and implement treatment plans in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in line with policy requirements
- Support students during their IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
