Montessori Lead Teacher

This is a brand new school opening in September 2021, in a lovely Oak shaded hilltop location a short walk to small-town Atascadero historic district.

School director has 10 years Montessori teaching experience, and will be working closely with the teacher to help bring the school"s vision to life.

The campus is shared with a grade K-8 homeschool hybrid program.

The Montessori program is open 8:30am-3:30pm. Lead teacher hours are negotiable.

Please have: Bachelor"s degree, AMS/AMI credential, Director qualification for California

Non-Montessori credentialed teachers may apply to be considered for an assistant or elementary level teacher.

Responsibilities:

Provide Montessori lessons to children ages 3-6.

Communicate support needs to assistant teacher, and delegate responsibilities.

Cooperate with head of school in building and rotating materials, while responding to individual children"s needs and interests.

Communicate with, listen to, and mentor parents in Montessori philosophy, while respecting cultural differences.
