Maintenance Technician/Handyman
Join a dedicated team maintaining apartment rental properties in California as a Maintenance Technician/Handyman. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy problem-solving, and are skilled in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. The position offers the opportunity to work independently while making a direct impact on residents' quality of life by ensuring properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting for apartment rental properties
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for
- Communicate effectively with property management and residents regarding maintenance needs and progress
- Travel between properties as needed to perform maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Fluent in Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted, and unexpired California driver's license
- Possess a complete set of maintenance tools required for basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs
- Experience performing general maintenance and repair work is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
