Ledgent Technology is hiring an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to design and deliver next-generation AI solutions in a healthcare payer environment. This is a high-impact role focused on building production-grade AI agents that drive automation, decision-making, and operational efficiency across the business.

What You'll Do
- Own and manage the full Agent Development Lifecycle from concept through production support
- Design and build enterprise-grade AI agents and GenAI applications with a focus on orchestration, RAG, workflow automation, and personalized assistance
- Develop scalable and secure AI solutions using tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel
- Optimize prompts, context management, and evaluation frameworks to improve AI output quality and adoption
- Partner with product, clinical, compliance, and data teams to deliver measurable outcomes in HIPAA-compliant environments
- Integrate structured and unstructured data sources across multiple systems
- Conduct testing across functional, integration, and scenario layers
- Support production systems including troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning
- Document architectures, workflows, and technical designs
- Drive continuous improvement across AI tools, workflows, and engineering standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering scalable applications using .NET, Node.js, or Python
- 3+ years of experience building user-facing applications with React or similar frontend frameworks
- Proven experience integrating AI and ML into production systems using modern frameworks and agent-based architectures
- Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings-based retrieval, AI agents, or advanced conversational interfaces
- Strong skills in prompt engineering, model selection, and context management
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, or similar
- Solid understanding of AI system evaluation, observability, reliability, and guardrails
- Experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous agents with workflow orchestration, tool usage, and memory
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Docker
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements

Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary with a pay range from $62.50 to $81.70 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Additional Details
Max Pay is $81.70 per hour. Min Pay is $62.50 per hour.
