What You'll Do

As our Shipping & Receiving Specialist, youll be at the forefront of our logistical operations, ensuring precision and efficiency in every task. Your day will be varied and engaging, offering a chance to utilize your organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Collaborate for Quality: Work closely with our Quality Control team to meticulously inspect incoming goods, ensuring everything meets our high standards before it enters our inventory. Your keen eye helps us maintain product excellence from the start.
• Manage Production Flow: Efficiently process Production Orders for Work-In-Progress (WIP) parts, making sure components are ready for the next stage of manufacturing. Youll be a key player in keeping our production lines moving seamlessly.
• Inventory & System Savvy: Accurately track and manage inventory levels, performing regular cycle counts and updating orders within our JD Edwards and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Your precision here ensures accurate stock levels and smooth operations.
• Document Mastery: Prepare all necessary and accurate shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading for both domestic and international shipments. Youll ensure every package has its perfect passport.
• Load & Secure: Expertly load trailers for both domestic and international outbound shipments, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure transport. Your careful work guarantees safe and timely delivery.
• Customs Compliance: Uphold stringent Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) procedures, ensuring all international shipments are fully compliant with customs regulations. Youll be a guardian of global trade integrity.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks, performing daily equipment checks to ensure maximum safety and operational readiness. We count on you to keep our equipment in top shape.

What You Bring

• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or general warehouse environment.
• Forklift Certification: Current and valid certification for operating forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) and electric pallet jacks is essential. Safety is our top priority.
• System Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, specifically JD Edwards, is highly preferred. Your comfort with technology will be key.
• Documentation Skills: Proven ability to accurately prepare and process various shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Customs Knowledge: Familiarity with Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) procedures and general customs compliance regulations for international shipping.
• Physical Dexterity: The ability to perform the essential functions of this position, which may include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The Details

This is a full-time, first-shift position, offering a consistent schedule to help you plan your life outside of work.

• Work Schedule: Primarily first shift hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities as needed to support operational demands.
• Work Environment: You will be working in a modern warehouse facility, which is climate-controlled and equipped with state-of-the-art logistics technology.
• Equipment: All necessary safety equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and tools, including forklifts and pallet jacks, will be provided and maintained to the highest standards.
• Location: This role is based at our primary facility, offering easy access and ample parking. No travel is required for this position.
