Position Title: Accounts Receivables Clerk

Department: Accounting

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Job Classification: Full-Time

Schedule: Wednesday- Friday 12:00PM - 6:00 PM (Saturday 9:30AM-6:00PM)

Job Summary

Rancho Foods' Accounts Receivable Clerk bears the responsibility of maintaining essential accounting functions that include, but are not limited to: processing payments, collections, maintaining accounts, and administrative tasks. The ideal Accounts Receivable Clerk candidate possesses an eye for detail, a professional demeanor, a positive attitude, and a trustworthy disposition.

Essential Functions

Receivables

· Collect route sheets, invoices, checks, cash, money orders, change, etc.

· Apply customer cash and check payments to customer accounts

· Balance and submit the bank cash deposit

· Sort and file invoices and route sheets

· Scan and save invoices and route sheets

Collections

· Maintain balances on customer accounts

· Issue outstanding balance statements

· Advise delivery drivers on situational issues

· Adjust customer credit terms appropriately

Customer Service

· Assist customers with payment discrepancies

· Notify customers of credits applied, pending, and issued

Job Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience in Collections required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred

Minimum of two years' experience in an Accounts Receivable position

Knowledge Requirements

Office 365: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
