Accounts Receivable Specialist
ROC 1954 has been a family-owned and operated company for three generations. We currently have an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The new team member will be responsible for supporting the accounting team by making outbound receivable calls and assisting with other billing and receivable tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Heavy data entry and collections of customer accounts
- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Billing, to ensure smooth interdepartmental operations
- Manage tax-exempt certificate expirations
- Generate and unlock company gas cards
- Process card transactions through CardLink to create monthly invoices
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, faxing, and emailing
- Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing
- Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and repayment progress
- Manage past-due accounts to collections/attorney
- Provide backup support to other accounting team members as needed
- Other projects and duties assigned by management
Salary Range : starting at $19.00

- Knowledge of Sage a plus but not required
