Compensation Analyst POST NUMBER: 233048
A leading national hospitality and restaurant organization is seeking an Interim Compensation Analyst to support its Total Rewards team. This role will play a key part in maintaining competitive, equitable, and market-aligned compensation programs across a large, multi-location workforce. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, experienced in market pricing and job evaluation, and comfortable partnering with HR and business leaders to support compensation-related decisions. Responsibilities Conduct market pricing analyses for new and existing positions using compensation surveys and market data. Benchmark roles and evaluate jobs to determine appropriate pay grades and salary structures. Analyze compensation data and provide recommendations related to new hires, promotions, transfers, and other pay actions. Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of job descriptions. Interpret salary survey data and identify appropriate benchmark matches. Partner with HR and business stakeholders to support compensation programs and talent strategies. Develop reports and insights that support compensation decision-making and workforce planning. Maintain compensation data integrity and support ongoing compensation projects. Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 4 years of progressive compensation experience. Strong experience with market pricing and job evaluation methodologies. Experience utilizing compensation survey platforms such as Mercer, WTW, Aon Radford, Salary.com, or similar providers. Solid understanding of compensation principles, salary administration, and market benchmarking. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex compensation data. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and other data analysis functions.
