Job Description and Duties

Inventories and prepares a list of products, supplies and/or tools individually used to be reordered in accordance with the inventory program overseen by the supervisor(s) to maintain sufficient levels of products, supplies and tools. Cleans common and/or executive restrooms daily in order to prepare the restrooms utilizing common industry tools and cleaning products to disinfect and cleanse floors, fixtures, walls, toilets, sinks, counter tops, shower doors and floors. Restock all paper products and refills liquid soaps to ensure availability for users. Utilizes appropriate tools as directed, sweeps, vacuums, mops all floors empties, trash receptacles, removes dust and polishes all office surfaces including furniture and modular systems, removes stains from carpets, area rugs, or other floors in order to maintain floors and office surfaces to ensure cleanliness daily. Quarterly maintenance on floors such as stripping wax, waxing, buffing and polishing floors. Adheres to the health and safety protocols by reporting to supervisors and/or other staff to dispatch skilled or unskilled staff to mitigate and/or abate any unsafe condition Assesses and completes appropriate documents to report building repairs to supervisor(s) such as broken restroom dispensers or fixtures, burned out lighting, door(s) sticking or not latching, broken locks, etc. Replaces light tubes or bulbs as necessary by climbing a ladder. observed or reported within the building and adjacent grounds, applies the directives established to fulfill the Occupational Health and Safety Administration Division (OSHA) requirements. Attends training as required on safety methods involved in cleaning and/or mixing of chemicals and products, and for effective operation of equipment, tools or any kind of machinery as needed for cleaning.
